The grapes for this, his village-level wine, are hand-harvested, and half of it is matured in 1-year-old oak barrels to add some richness and density, with the other half matured in stainless steel to preserve the freshness and delicacy of the flavor of the fruits. It's full of upfront nectarine, peach, honeysuckle, and fresh citrus fruit flavors with buttery and hazelnut notes coming through mid-palate.

Supremely complex with ripe lemons and limes, touches of honey, and fresh blossom on the nose followed by a weighty palate. Sylvain Bzikot’s grandfather was a Polish emigrant who arrived in Puligny just before the War with nothing but the clothes he stood up in. From those humble beginnings, this family domaine has acquired an impressive 4 hectares of some of the most valuable agricultural land in the world, namely Puligny-Montrachet and Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru. They own 9 hectares of “regional appellation” producing Bourgogne Blanc, Aligoté, and Pinot Noir.
